Final Meeting for 2025
The final meeting for the year included a presentation by Matt S about the theory and technique of de-candling of Japanese Black Pines, and members got to try what they’d learned on one of Matt’s trees after the demonstration.
To finish of the year, there was a free raffle for members and the prize was an advanced Yew Forest which had been generously donated by Ruth C and recently, re-styled by Matt.
Des was the lucky winner and we look forward to seeing the forest develop further under his care.
The night finished off with a pre-Christmas supper and a catch-up. Meetings resume in February 2026 and we look forward to another great year ahead.
