Evan Marsh Workshops
Evan’s workshops were invaluable for those of us who took trees that had been causing us to scratch our heads.
I’d certainly lost me way with a Ficus retusa and am now confident to airlayer it and give myself two trees.
There was a diverse range of trees presented to Evan over the two days and he approached each challenge with confidence and skill. His knowledge of horticulture enabled him to comprehensively explain the reasons why certain moves were essential and others to be avoided. It was as much about tree health as it was creative design. This was heartening to observe.

On the Saturday the 29th I attended Evan Marsh’s workshop. This is the third workshop I have been to and the second that I have taken a tree to work with. These workshops have never disappointed me and this one was no different. I had a really fun day and learnt a lot from Evan.
It’s such a great way to get a different perspective on your tree, improve your skills and extend your bonsai knowledge. You also get to watch him walk others through a design for their tree which is a great way to get new ideas. Lots of fun and you learn so much in such a short time.
Be sure not to miss the next one. Very enjoyable and highly recommended!
