60th Anniversary of SA Bonsai Society
Our August meeting was a fitting celebration for the 60th anniversary of the SA Bonsai Society making us the oldest Bonsai club in Australia.
Janet and Marie, as members who joined very soon after the club’s inception, cut the celebratory cake featuring the club logo.
Each member attending the meeting received a complimentary drink coaster which also featured the club logo.
Marie spoke about the early development of the club and highlighted the significant initiatives that have made us the thriving society we are today.
She particularly emphasised the contribution by members to enhance the reputation of SA Bonsai as a welcoming club in which members freely share their skills and understanding of bonsai so that all members benefit.
